The DigitalHunter mounts to rifles using a Picatinney (or Weaver) rail. It can be bore sighted to the rifle using conventional methods; the only difference is the reticle is adjusted electronically using the keypad. The increment of adjustment is .2 MOA per click. Setup takes less than five minutes one time and is stored in memory; each time the DigitalHunter is turned ON it recalls the previous setting that was present when the riflescope was turned OFF. Magnification, reticles, and range are all changed with a quick push of a button. Operates on readily available AA batteries.
