Forster's Ultra Seater Die includes all the popular straight line seating features of our original Bench Rest® Seater Die plus an ultra-accurate micrometer adjustment feature for adjusting bullet seating depth. The Forster Ultra™ allows you to adjust seating depth to .001" or even .0005" increments. Much of the trial and error that was once associated with seating accurate rounds is eliminated with the Ultra Seater Die. After you have seated your bullet close to the desired depth and measured it, simply adjust the micrometer stem down to the desired depth and the cartridge will be exactly the length you need. Fine tuning of your rounds to bring them out close to the lands of your rifling is simple with the Ultra micrometer die. If you use different brands and styles of bullets in the same rifle, make note of your "optimal bullet depth setting" for each bullet and save that information for future loading.
