Use it as a height-adjustable trekking pole, and when needed, three legs flair out, making it a freestanding optics mount. At the top is a powerful magnet, and you get two additional magnets which you can attach to any optics with threaded mounts. It’s so secure, you can still walk with your spotting scope attached to the Trek Pod II. The VersaRest (included with the Trek Pod II) adds support for a rifle, long-lensed camera, or other large optic. Lightweight, with a dark-brown anodized finish, it’s rugged enough to use anywhere.
