The offset side rail allows attachment of M3/M6 (other lights attach to Picatinny rails) type flashlights directly to the rifle or carbine forearm.  Installation requires permanent modification (drilling two holes in the forearm).  The mount allows easy access to the weapon light without shifting your grip on the firearm.  Constructed of aircraft grade, hard anodized aluminum.  Includes all mounting hardware.
