Due to the packaging and shipping process, case necks are often slightly dinged or bent and need to be rounded up and sized to give proper neck tension. New and/or fired cases must be full-length resized or have the expander ball of the sizing die run through the case neck prior to loading.

.257 Robert's brass... good stuff!

Hard to find and easy to load

When in stock i like to get a couple bags. I use these in my old 98 Mauser build. I get good life out of them necksizing with FL sizing every 5th loading. +P is good since I load to modern specs.

Winchester brass has been consistent with very few problems but some prep work is necessary. Flash hole deburr and tap them with a sizing die to round the neck. The 257 is a very manageable and useful cartridge to bad its a "seasonal run" product.

3 Grandson's have .257 Roberts rifles, hard to find shells and brass for this caliber as it appears to be one of the old reliable calibers that is on verge of going off into the sunset!
