Product Information

All Hornady® Match™ bullets feature revolutionary AMP® (Advanced Manufacturing Process) bullet jackets. Developed by Hornady® engineers, these bullet jackets are a technological advancement in design, tooling and manufacturing that combine to produce the most consistently concentric bullet jackets available. These proven AMP® jackets are the foundation for exceptional bullet accuracy and have virtually zero runout and near zero wall thickness variation. Coupled with precision swaged cores and manufactured to the tightest standards in the industry, all Hornady® Match™ bullets provide superior consistency, high ballistic coefficients and unprecedented levels of accuracy.

  • SECANT OGIVE PROFILE:  The geometric profile works to produce low drag and flatter trajectories. The secant ogive design also provides the optimum bearing surface for stability in flight and the best ballistic coefficient possible.
  • SWAGED LEAD CORE:  The swaging process provides excellent uniformity and balance for consistent performance and accuracy.
  • AMP® JACKET:  The jacket has virtually zero runout and near zero wall thickness variation.
  • BOATTAIL:  The angle and length of the boattail is unique and optimized for each caliber and weight of Match™ bullets to maximize ballistic coefficient and performance.

140 gr hornady bullet

By Terry A. on Feb 12, 2024
extreme accuracy when loaded with h 4350-my go to bullet for range happiness !!

Good value and Graf has best prices on most bullets

By Jacob M. on Feb 02, 2024
Typically shoot Lapua Scenar 139gn but they are hard to find sometime so looking for a backup. These were cheap and uniformity is good. Ogive and base/boat tail nearly identical to the Bare match Burner 140s which shoot well for me. Both very different ogive compared to Scenar. Have not sent any down range yet.

Hornady 6.5 140 match

By John A. on Sep 14, 2023
I have been using these for a while now and they are very accurate and consistent on the weight easy to load and reasonably priced great bullet in my Tikka.

6.5mm HBPT

By Todd M. on Oct 10, 2020
These bullets are excellent for accuracy. I use them in my Swedish target rifles. They may not be cutting edge for long-range F-Class, but they are certainly accurate enough for competition in short and mid-range F-class.
A good bullet for all around use.

Amazing Accuracy

By Richard M. on Aug 11, 2020
With my newly assembled semi-auto precision rifle on an AR -10 platform in 6.5 Creedmoor I got sub-minute of angle groupings and several rounds went into the same hole. Great accuracy and product quality.

Excellent ammo for the milsurp Swedish Mauser

By Chad S. on Jun 16, 2020
These are hard to beat in the m/96 and m/38 Swedish Mauser. They especially shine when used with a slow burning powder in a m/41B sniper. Great bullets.

You can't go wrong with this one!

By Steve S. on Jun 13, 2020
Used H4350, found accuracy node, played with seating depth a bit, and BINGO! Cloverleafs all day long at 100 yds with my $400 Cabelas R700 and a borrowed scope, easy to hit a golf ball at 200 yds and quite fun making "head shots" on steel at 400 yds. I'm a rookie at this and a 5" group at 600yds was easy. They vary +/- .1 grain from the 140, and 80% of the bullets I have weighed (and I weigh them all) are either 140.0 or 140.1 gr. so you get VERY consistent performance. Highly recommended, and for the price you just can't go wrong. Especially when the guy beside you with the spendy rig looks the gun over and asks "Ok, what's the deal?" I showed him the bullets and he took a picture of the box.

Very accurate

By Michael E. on Aug 29, 2019
I bought these to try in my 6.5 Creedmoor and they are very accurate. Will buy them again.

Haven't loaded them yet, but they all look fine, no damages, great price, and came quick.

My go-to round

By Jon S. on Aug 23, 2019
I’ve shot all kinds of rounds and the value on these make them hard to beat! I recommend them.

Very accurate

By John W. on Apr 10, 2019
Great accuracy for the price.

Best Bang for your Buck

By Dennis F. on Apr 08, 2019
I've obtained equal or better results with these when compared to brands costing twice as much. Sub MOA groups consistently from my 6.5 Creedmoor Rem 700 and PSA AR10. Graf & Sons customer service is #1

Good value

By Bobby A. on Feb 06, 2019
Great bullets, great performance

Good performance

By William B. on Jan 21, 2019
Loaded test loads using these and produced sub moa groups out to 600 yards using a Bergara HMR, looking to go to 1000 in the future.

Great product great price

By Eric B. on Dec 25, 2018
Excellent for the price. My Arisaka is older so it is probably on my end but I experienced some tumbling. Still, 5 stars!

Great Bullets

By Anthony C. on Dec 12, 2018
Bought some of these to try out and have had success at the range. Will be adding this to my next shopping list.

Good Value

By Mike S. on Sep 27, 2018
Let me say, I’m not a fan boy of brands, I prefer performance and value. I compared these Hornady Match with some Barnes, Sierra Match, and Nosler. I could not visually distinguish any discernible difference between Nosler/Sierra or Hornady. I loaded up some from all, took ten each to range and again no difference in ES or SD. I’ll take value over name any day when performance matches and price is lower.....low wins. I’m now a fan boy of these Hornady Match
