PPU .303 bullets

By Wayne B. on Dec 22, 2023
We have had excellent service from these bullets. They are consistent and accurate in the British WWII weapons. The bullets give us slightly over or under MOA. We recommend these bullets for those who like to shoot the vintage weapons.

PRVI .311 180gr SPBT

By Jeffrey D. on Nov 02, 2023
This is the only bullet I’ve found to shoot accurately out of my sporterized M38 Mosin Nagant. I haven’t had a chance to try them on game yet, but hoping to this season.

Finally in stock!

By Ross P. on Jul 19, 2023
Bought to reload for Mosin rifles. Discovered the rifles prefer the heavier bullets as opposed the 150s initially went with years ago.

The Boat Tail Soft Point is why I chose these as well as the very reasonable price. The lead at the tip is a little sloppy (picture a little bit more like a flattened mushroom) compared to significantly more expensive bullets. It initially triggered the OCD but we will have to see how the shots group after the load work.

Once I have pictures I will try to edit and update this review.

Stock when possible!

A great bullet for the .303! Have used it for hog and deer without the need of a follow-up shot. Seriously, with al the craziness in the world today, it is worth it to buy a few extra bags for the rainy days to come.

PPB311SP180

PPU 180 grain SP. Excellent accuracy in the .303. Loading xx.x grains Accurate 2520, Winchester case, S&B Large Rifle primer. Hitting dead on at 150-160 yards with P14 battle sights. Powder charge is a full 3 grains under Accurate manual MAX, 1.4 grains above recommended starting load. Got 10 reloads per case in testing, primer pocket stayed tight, so pressure is mild. Just got my Deer Tag in the mail, will test this bullet on live game for the first time. Update report in November after the hunt.

PPU 180gr 303 bulletts

By Glenn F. on Aug 01, 2022
I thought I would try these PPU bullets since I couldn't fine any Hornady for my 303 Brit ammo. I found these bullets to be very high quality. Bright finish and loaded easily with the boat tail design. I would not hesitate to buy them again. Oh, and the price was very fair. Thanks Graf!

Great value!

By far one of the best values I've found for my British 303 reloads. Great price, loads good and shoots great. Thanks PPU for a good product!

Nice Bullet fit for my SMLE

By Charles M. on Sep 19, 2020
The actual bullet diameter appears to measure .313", which is a great fit in my Lee-Enfield. The slight bevel on the edge of the 'flat base' makes seating the bullet a charm.
I also bought some of the lovely PPU .303 cartridge cases.
The first box of reloads looks lovely and will be Range Tested later in the week.

PPB311SP180, 50 ct bag

By Bob W. on Jul 22, 2020
These arrived about a week ago...can't wait to start working up loads for my No 4 rifles, P14, and various Mosin rifles and carbines, especially a purpose-built M39 sporter. These should be particularly well-suited for mule deer, elk, and caribou This was my first order from Graf and I look forward to ordering again once I've finished initial testing.

Best Bullet for my Mosin's

By Jeffrey I. on Sep 16, 2019
I'm using these in both my Mosin M44 and my 91/30. Talk about accuracy! Easy to use in either my single stage press or my Dillon 550C. I'm using the 180 gr. bullets now, but want to experiment with the 150's soon.

Excellent

The Best Bullet I've Found For My SMLE

By Michael R. on Sep 03, 2018
Earlier this year, I evaluated the Hornady #3130, this PPU B125 (that is PPU's designation for this bullet), and the Speer #2223. Hands down, the PPU 180-grain SPBT led the others in superior downrange MOA performance.

Across the three bullets, using a wide variety of powder, Varget and Hybrid 100V offered the best velocity and MOA. The best 100 yard, five shot, MOA for the Hornady #3130 was 1.757, the Speer #2223 1.967, but this PPU delivered 1.031 with Varget and 1.038 with Hybrid 100V!

I do wish the bullet was manufactured without a cannelure as it does not work out with a COAL of 3.070" to 3.075". It is a small point with me as long as the 1.0 MOAs continue.
