I find this really speeds up the reloading, esecially if it immediately follows an RCBS lube die #2. This is the secret to high volume productivity. Then wash or polish off the lube before loading primer, powder and projectile.
It is essential to cleanly remove any military swage first or both shoulder and head are not accurately spaced from the base.
There is no neck enlarging ball, as in a conventional sizing die, so undersize neck diameter or neck damage is not removed.
