Very consistent in weight and length. Accuracy in a seventy plus year old rifle was greatly improved by using this bullet over surplus ammunition.

Reduced accuracy over .311" diameter bullets

I get significantly reduced accuracy with .310" - .3105" bullets used in place of true .311" bullets. I've been reloading for several Lee Enfields, a P14, a Ross MkIII, and a M1891 Argentine Mauser. I've had good success in finding handloads that give 1 MOA accuracy with everything from Hornady 150gr. SST, to Sierra Match King 174gr. to Speer 180gr. Spitzer hunting bullets when the bullets are a true .311" diameter. My rifles don't like anything smaller than that. I bought 500 of these bullets in the hopes they would replace the .311" 174gr. SMKs that don't seem to be available anymore. They don't. My groups blew up to two or three times the size of groups I get with the other bullets. Many won't mind getting 2 to 3 MOA with their old milsurps but you get kind of get spoiled when you've been able to get 1MOA previously.
Subsonic 7.62x39

I used these to develop a subsonic 7.62x39 round. Though this was achieved, the group size wasn't what I had hoped for or what I got from other bullets. Not bad but not amazing. Average group was 2.5" @100yrds.

I am having good results with my type 99. So far I have dialed in under 2 inches at 100 yards. Eventually I will put these to work in my Finn m39 as well!

I used these in my Finn Mosins. They are much more cost effective than D166 and close to as accurate!

I have been using this bullet in 7.62X54R, .303 Brittish and 7.7X58. It works well in all three. Consistent 3" groups out these old Milsurps using original sights at 100 yards. My eyes are 64 years old now so I am very happy with the results.
