Q: What are your shipping charges?

A: Freight is prepaid to the 1st 48 states on regular ground service only. Orders shipping to AK & HI, or any customer requesting a different ship via than UPS or FedEx ground will pay actual freight & insurance. We reserve the right to ship by UPS, FedEx, commercial truck or Parcel Post. Each order will have a Non-Refundable $4.50 handling and insurance charge added, excluding AK & HI orders or any order where the customer pays actual freight & insurance. This charge is per order. If items are backordered there will NOT be another $4.50 charge.

Q: What are your shipping charges to Alaska/Hawaii?

A: Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii will be billed the actual freight charges. The $4.50 handling and insurance charge will not be added to these orders.

Q: Do you have a minimum order amount?

A: We require a minimum order of $30 (product only). Our handling & insurance charge ($4.50) and other fees are not included in this amount.

Q: When will I receive my order?

A: We try to ship all orders within 2 working days. Depending on the destination, actual delivery typically occurs within 2-10 working days after leaving our warehouse.

Q: Can I change or add to my order after it has been placed?

A: Once an order is entered into our system we are unable to make any changes.

Q: Will you special order products?

A: We will special order products from most of the vendors in our catalog. If you are looking for a product that is not on our website or in our catalog, please call and ask one of our sales associates for availability and pricing.

Q: Will you accept backorders?

A: We do accept backorders. Any backorder less than 30 days old will be shipped without notification, unless shipping COD.

Q: How long will my backorder take to receive?

A: With the exception of special order and drop ship items, every product we carry is either in stock or on order. The average delay for backordered items is 1-2 weeks except in cases where the product is temporarily unavailable from the manufacturer. We periodically are out of stock for extended periods on seasonal items, items experiencing manufacturing problems and imported items. In these cases, we try our best to obtain reliable due date information.

Q: Will I be charged handling and insurance on my backorder?

A: The handling and insurance charge applies only to the original order- not to any backorder releases.

Q: When is my credit card charged for a backorder?

A: Credit cards are charged for backordered product once the product has been received and released for shipment.

Q: Do you have volume discounts?

A: Discounts are available on bullets, powder and ammo. Orders over $500 are also eligible for discounts. Please see VOLUME DISCOUNTS for more details.

Q: Do you ship internationally?

A: We do accept foreign orders. Please see ORDERING INFORMATION for more details.

Q: What is your hazardous material fee?

A: A hazardous materials fee (haz mat fee) of $20 is charged to any ground order containing powder, primers, fuse or gun cleaning liquids over 1 quart. This fee is per package with a max gross weight of 70 lbs/package. Smokeless powder and primers can be combined (up to 50 lbs) under 1 haz mat fee. Black powder requires a separate fee and cannot be combined with any other hazardous materials. Hazardous Materials require an adult signature for delivery. Q: What is the minimum quantity of powder/primers I can order?

A: The minimum order of powder is 4 lbs. The minimum order for primers is 1,000 primers.

Q: Is the haz mat fee required for ammunition?

A: The haz mat fee does not apply to ammunition unless shipped via air ($30).

Q: Can you ship hazardous materials to Alaska/Hawaii?

A: Powder cannot be shipped to Alaska or Hawaii. Primers can be shipped via 1st or 2nd day air and require a $30 haz mat fee.

Q: Where is my catalog?

A: Catalogs requested typically are processed twice monthly and can take 2-3 weeks for delivery.

Q: Do you allow customer pick-ups?

A: Although we don’t have a showroom or retail area, we welcome customers to drop by, say “hello” and pick up an order at our facility.
