FEDERAL 7MM(.284) 155gr EDGE TLR BULLET 50/bx 4/cs
The first true all-range hunting projectile is now available as a component bullet. Unlike other bullets that can fail to perform on impact at lower velocities, Federal Premium® Edge TLR® uses the exclusive Slipstream™ polymer tip to initiate expansion at long range. The patented hollow-core design initiates expansion at velocities 200 fps lower than other polymer tips. At close range, the bullet's copper shank and bonded lead core retain weight for consistent, lethal penetration. Its long, sleek profile offers an extremely high ballistic coefficient and AccuChannel™ groove technology improves accuracy and minimizes drag.

Federal 7mm Edge TLR

I have had the same results as Brian B above. Good consistency and very good accuracy. I will add that the Federal Edge TLR is the design that I have been waiting for for a long time. Great expansion at long range due to the soft bonded lead front core and areo tip. As well as a long solid shank for good straight line penetration.

Picked these up to try in a 280 AI. Good quality and consistency in the boxes I received. First group with RL23 was very accurate. Happy with the purchase.
Federal 7mm Edge TLR

Purchased these recently and was disappointed with the quality control. Out of the box of 50 there were 17 that had obvious physical defects, dents in the jacket material and shaving of the blue tips. There were also many that had discoloring but that has no effect on accuracy or performance on game. It would appear that Federal might be having a quality control issue or they are selling to the public what other manufacturers would consider to be "seconds." Haven't developed and loads and shot any yet to comment on accuracy.
