Product Information

The development of this technology was the result of an animal control agency's request for a no lead .243 bullet that would provide extensive wound trauma with little minimal pass through energy. Basically the idea was to burst the bullet into numerous particles at a predetermined depth creating many wounds and a large temporary cavity with shot placement at or near the central nervous system. The agency had tried copper matrix frangible rounds and found the penetration depth and particle size were less than what was require for proper terminal performance.

  • Many wound channels resulting in extensive damage
  • CNC machined from solid copper or brass, not formed or swaged
  • Exceptional accuracy from the advanced manufacturing process
  • A separate base for penetration along the original trajectory
  • No lead designs for agencies requiring green projectiles
This is not loaded ammunition.

Best hunting bullet for 6.5 Grendel ever

By Martin F. on Jan 01, 2022
As stated in subject line, this bullet is fantastic in the Grendel. I've taken 4 VA deer with these bullets and it has performed perfectly every time. One entrance hole and several exit holes. Never found an intact bullet after shooting a deer. The petals performed as designed and the larger back part of the bullet just keeps on going. Compete pass-through on bone and muscle. Cannot recommend this bullet enough for the mild recoiling, mid-range Grendel cartridge. Accuracy with these have been 0.5 inch or less at 100 yds with my handloads from both my RAP and my Howa.

110gr. Controlled Chaos

IMO not a better bullet for hog hunting in the 6.5 grendel. 15 to date all DRT. Using both a bolt version and AR rifles.
