Nosler Brass 280 Remington Unprimed Box of 50

Hard to find caliber Graf's had them - and Nosler makes good brass

I bought another box of 280 to go with the other 3 I recently purchased. This box was "20" gr heavier than the other 3! It also was over 3 gr spread with one was about 3gr above the the low in that box. When I called them & said that was really unacceptable to have that kind of difference between boxes & could cause a major problem if it was someone that didn't weigh every piece. Between the 3 box wts & the hi of the other box, it held 2.2 gr more of BLC ball. If you had a max load worked out for the lower 3 boxes & loaded that load in the other box, with the much thicker brass, which equals more pressure - you might have a big big problem!

Now I have lots of Nosler brass & have been a big proponent of them previously, as their brass has always been well within their +/- .5 & usually less & their brass is prepped great & runout on case necks is usually the equal of Lapua, which I also use.

In this order I also had 25-06 & 6CM Nosler brass & they were up to standard & were within normal range of my other Nosler brass in those calibers.

Also a case of Lapua 308 100ct, & had 36 of exactly the same weight, another 30 of the same wt & one of 27 the same wt.! All within .5 gr. of ea other. Just to throw that out there!

Nosler is sending me replacement brass (supposedly) & I'll be sending this back with my grains of water & powder results.

Hope this is a "one of" screw up.
