Half Slits Results in Tight Patterns

I was initially attracted to this wad after researching several publications on load data including Lyman's Shotshell Reloading Handbook, 5th Edition. The descriptions of this wad match the experiences I've had to date regarding tight patterns, which apparently are attributed to the half slits and deep cup features. For less than full capacity loads, I use felt over shot for a nice finished crimp.

These wads give very even, consistent with 1 1/4 oz of #5 shot. They do cost more than other than most, but are worth it.
