Starline 357 Magnum brass

This brass, much like other Starline brass I have used, is well formed high quality brass. Flash holes are pierced cleanly and case mouths are free of burrs. The case ID's were clean and free of any foreign material. I will continue to use this brass in my 357 mag.

I've never used the recently purchased Starline .38 and .357 brass but, my .45acp pistol has had hundreds of Starline used in it and works perfectly and appears like many loadings of the same brass is possible. If it'll work in autos, I believe it should work in a revolver.

Excellent brass cases, they run very smooth through my RCBS carbide sizing die. The overall length is very consistent which makes for a good uniform crimp on my reloads. Will be buying again!

I have been using Starline brass in several other cartridges with no complaints. This brass is very consistant and am on 4 loadings on other Starline brass, see no issues and plan on at least 4 more loadings.

I have previously purchased SL brass from Grafs so I expected this .357 Mag. brass to be as good, and it was. I 1st sprayed the cases w/Hornady 1-shot then resized all the brass in my RCBS carbo die, and lastly cleaned them, lying on a clean paper towel, with a paper towel on top wettened with a little lighter fluid. The cases are consistent, with a random sample of 10 showing a COAL of 1.281 - 1.285. Max length is 1.290 and I like to trim cases .05 less than the max length, so I don't have to trim these. Case width is supposed to be .379 max or a little less, and these cases measured .375 at the mouth and .377 just ahead of the rim/groove. With a Lyman primer pocket reamer inserted into the primer pocket, there was no lateral movement of the gauge in the pocket and no reaming needed. Excellent cases which I will buy more of in the future.

Starling brass is excelent brass. I have never found any defects in the starline brass I have purchased. They even include an extra piece of brass or 2 in every bag of 100 that I have purchased so far.

Starline handgun brass is great. Its very well made, round clean primer hole, price is great for handgun as sometimes you cant find all your brass. Cases are very uniform, necks are not bent and bases are clear of any nicks.
I use .357 and .44 Magnum cases.
