Due to the packaging and shipping process, case necks are often slightly dinged or bent and need to be rounded up and sized to give proper neck tension. New and/or fired cases must be full-length resized or have the expander ball of the sizing die run through the case neck prior to loading.

The brass is perfect in every way. Bright and shiny. And, as usual, Grafs was quick in shipping the product. Five stars all the way.

Great brass from Starline as always. Not a single unusable case. I will continue to buy Starline whenever possible

Great Brass

Very fine quality brass. I have always been impressed by the quality of Starline brass, The cases are polished, no dents, mis-shapen, etc. The price is also very reasonable.

Starline Brass 38 S&W Unprimed Bag of 100

These are very nice looking cases and the price was quite good. I sized and expanded them in preparation for loading. Five hundred should hold me for a month or two.

Another Quality Starline Product

By Ken S. on Jun 03, 2020
This is the second batch of Starline 38 S & W brass that I have bought and just like the first, it is excellent. I have not found any damaged or dented at all. I only have to flare the case mouth, prime, and load.

Starline .38 S&W brass

By Michael P. on Jun 01, 2020
Due to the high cost of loaded .38 S&W ammo, reloading is the best way to keep old Smith, H&R's, and Colts fed. At twenty cents per case for Starline brass, a LRN .361 bullet, a primer, and a pittance of gunpowder; each round costs me about thirty cents for the first loading - about a dime for subsequent loadings. Starline makes great brass cases for many chamberings at extremely reasonable prices. My old Smiths can't tell the difference between Starline cases and cases from the big boys.

Star line 38 SW brass

By Darrell J. on Nov 15, 2019
Came clean and polished. While warned mouths may be dented, none were. 100 cases came in the resealable bag, it’s nice not to be shorted. And all 100 cases were usable, no cracks, folds, or missing flash holes.

A great product, and will reorder.

Excellent quality

By James B. on Nov 14, 2019
Very consistent quality and weight. I can honestly say I’ve never had problems with Starline products. I’ve used at least 10 different cartridge cases and never a problem. This is excellent brass.
