I recently started reloading .44 mag again after several years. I was using some very old mixed headstamp brass and noticed some inconsistencies in the reloading process. I ordered Starline brass because of its reputation and wasn't disappointed. It is clean, uniform and smooth reloading. Now I can throw away all the old stuff.

Consistent quality! I like the fact that bags have 100 pieces, or maybe 1 or 2 more. Unlike some company's that think 98 or 99 is close enough. It really p*****s me off when I set up to load 100. And I get 99 pieces of brass. I now have a primer box with 1 primer inside

I like starline for brass. Way better than regular range brass. This stuff cleans up well and seems nice and consistent across the board. I like to make sure that I debur and standardize the flash holes with a little screwdriver looking tool. I found these to have average-to-looser primer pockets than other brass brands than I have seen. No primers have ejected yet. Will continue to test.

Very good brass (notice that Sierra uses it in their load testing).
Initial ample of 10 cases showed COAL between 1.275- 1.281, 6 of which were 1.279- 1.280. Case mouths .451- .452. Case body above the rim & extractor groove .452 (all). With 136 cases, I laid them flat in a foam (former) grocery meat tray & sprayed them 1 time with Hornady case lube. They were sized in a Lee Carbide die. Remeasuring, OAL of 28% were at or below 1.280. The rest will be slightly trimmed to get to 1.280. Next, with 364 cases, I spray lubed them once, let dry, mixed them up in the trays and sprayed a second time. After sizing these, none of the cases measured over 1.280 OAL so will not be trimmed at all before loading. After sizing, case mouths measured .451 (slight change from .452), and case bodies above the rim & groove measured .452 as before. Good brass (and good technique).

Primer pockets always perfect tension. Also these are factory bags unlike other retailers that buy bulk and repackage. That means you get the bonus piece of brass that Starline packs into it's bags. Nothing worse than losing or damaging a single piece of brass, then having 49 or 99 reloads. Awesome stuff.

I have been reloading using Starline brass for several years now. I have used Starline brass in various calibers. I prefer to use this brass because I have found it to be produced to exacting specifications. I have never had a failure of Starline brass when firing it. Some of the brass I have fired in both .44 Russian and .44 Remington Magnum have been reloaded up to four times now. I have found no noticeable stretching or material fatigue. Some of my .44 Mag loads are at the upper charge spectrum. Also, I placed my order with Graf & Sons because they are a very reliable outfit with good communication and FAST shipping. I can only recommend this company.

Starline brass is the only brass I buy. It is consistent, there is always extra brass in every package I have ordered, and the quality control is excellent. In the several thousand I have in .357., .41, .308, and now my first .44 magnum, I have yet to reject any of there brass, and most of it is on at least it’s tenth round of reloading with no problems.

I've used starline brass for several different calibers both rifle and pistol and have found it to be of extremely high quality. There is no need to size, de-burr , or clean primer pockets . Just prime and load . Great brass at a great price

This is the only handgun brass I’ll buy. I’ve had nothing but problems using other, supposedly premium brass, in magnum pistol cartridges like .44, .460 S&W, and .50 AE. I’ve used Starline brass exclusively for these big boys and am nothing less than pleased with its performance. I’m very excited to start trying their rifle brass if it’s as good as their pistol brass!
