Federal 338cal (.338) Fusion 225gr BT Bullet

My original reason for trying these was the low price for a bonded bullet. I have been very pleasantly surprised by them. Accuracy from my re-bored 1917 Eddystone Enfield 338-06 has been top-notch, with a couple of loads going sub- moa. I was concerned that they might be a little hard for deer sized game since I assumed they were designed for the .338 Magnums, and my 338-06 is only pushing these 225 gr. bullets 2650 fps.. Surprisingly, performance on two medium size whitetails resulted in quick, clean, one shot kills. Both bullets exited, (not surprised by that) and left golf ball size exit wounds so from that I believe expansion was just right. I'm looking forward to trying Fusions in other calibers and weights.
