Savage ML-II loves this bullet

This is the best bullet I have found for my Savage ML-II smokeless muzzleloader. The 300 grain bullet, where longer, seems to stabilize better out of the ML-II than others I have tried. I just sand bagged my Savage this past week and it will group 1.5" at 100 yards continuously, with 15 minute cooling intervals. I have shot tighter groups, but 1.5" is the norm.

I have taken many deer with this bullet and I have lost "0" when put through the lungs or front shoulders. It leaves a good blood trail to follow.

My current load is Accurate Arms 5744 @xx grains by weight. I use a MMP HPH-12 sabots. Though this is a mild/slower load, it has never disappointed me.

I highly recommend this bullet to anyone shooting the Savage ML-II, designed for smokeless powder. I also do not recommend any one trying the above mentioned load data in a non-smokeless muzzleloader. Big difference in propellant types.

I would recommend serious consideration of this bullet. This 300 grain bullet will regularly produce pass through shots on deer sized game. The BC of this round is. 207 which allows me to shoot tight groups with either Triple Seven or Blackburn 209 powders from my CVA Accura. 27 inch barrel.
