SPRN - Soft Point Round Nose Bullets

This is not loaded ammunition.

Fantastic

By Harry C. on Mar 07, 2024
These Projectiles work perfect in my 6.5 Remington Mag. I started out using the old 120gr bullets for this firearm and I was very disappointed with the out come. I later on discovered that the 6.5 Rem Mag wasn't even designed to shoot projectiles lighter than 140 grains. They where designed to shoot the same projectiles as the 264 Win Mag. So I tried these bullets with xx grains of Accurate MagPro and I was blown away. They hold dime groups at 100 yards while the 120gr projectiles only held 2 inch groups if I was lucky. I will be buying these bullets from now on. PPU makes fantastic products for a very reasonable price.

Privi 156 grain 6.5

Great looking bullets, and yes, like all these poor souls said above, these are a flat point versus a round nose, but for the price? They are great and the sectional density is still enough to shoot through a telephone pole long ways.

These bullets are great for older style milsurp loading like the original 6.5x55, hope they make some with a .267 diameter for carcanos with a larger bore.

The bullets sent differ greatly from the description advertised. What I received were not round nosed bullets at all but flat nosed soft point bullets (FSP bullets shown in PPU catalog) a completely different bullet.

Tradition

By Art P. on Oct 05, 2020
Traditional bullet weight for 6.5X55 Swede.Trajectory is entirely adequate for eastern deer woods and penetration can help with less than optimum shooting angles.

Another fine PPU bullet

By Ken S. on Sep 08, 2020
These work very well in my M-96 Swedish Mauser with my load of IMR 4350 powder. I have had very good luck with the other PPU bullets and brass I have used, and will continue to purchase them.
