For an older male using the Kel-Tec PMR 30 w/laser matched well in several areas.: 1) There were zero failures to feed or fire over 500 rounds
2) Very tight 1 to 1.5 inch groups at 15-45 feet
3) Empirical testing showed outstanding penetration thru/into 4 x 1 gallon water-filled jugs
This is my Sunday go-to-church carry choice. Buy it and don't look back. Russ W. 1/31/2020
Bought as a lower velocity option for accuracy testing

Federal 50 grain is unique in the WMR field for offering a lower velocity round. I used it in a Heritage Rough Rider with convertible LR cylinder. First cylinder full produced a 10" group at 50' which was on par with other brands and velocities. So the answer to poor performance of the gun was neither brand nor velocity.
Looking into a way to calm these groups down I found the barrel had 14" twist, correct for 22 Mag, but the groove diameter was .2229, correct for LR. That shouldn't cause much of a stir. Further investigation indicated the forcing cone was simply a counterbore about a half inch deep ending abruptly at the lands. This meant either a shorter barrel, cutting off the counterbore, setting the shoulder back and rethreading, or, make a new barrel. Since the groove diameter was incorrect for WMR I opted for the new barrel; 14" twist and .224 groove. This should bring group accuracy down to where it should be.
Beside the lower velocity, the Federal 50 grain appears to have a well thought out bullet. There is a driving band ahead of the casing which will engage the rifling sooner than other bullets. While jump to lands is not usually an issue in a revolver this will allow the gasses to react on the bullet a skosh longer, possibly resulting in a slightly higher velocity. We'll see.
Bottom line, this is a great product to help analyze your 22 Magnum if you are experiencing problems. The lower velocity may calm your groups down while the 50 grain bullet provides plenty of thump - a little less energy than the higher velocity products but still about double the typical LR round.

Live in a very rural area, a Savage 42 combo, 22 Mag and .410 for my utility gun when uninvited critters appear. The 50 gr Federal load has worked very well on coyote, foxes, rabid raccoons, turkey, et al. Pretty consistently blow the center out of an on edge claybird at 50 steps from the 42.

Most people don’t think about shooting 50gr bullets in their 22 mag but these are the most accurate of everything I’ve tried in my 77/22. And they perform great on coyotes!

This runs great in my Kel-Tec PMR 30..no failure to feeds or stovepipes. Graf and Sons did an excellent job of packing for shipping..no broken or split boxes.

These 50 grain federal WMR are really accurate in my winchester 94-22M lever action. This rifle consistantly puts eleven shots into a half inch hole at 50 yards. That's a full tubular magazine, and I can do it every time if the wind isn't blowing too bad.
The 50 grain bullet puts bigger varmints like coyotes down better than lighter bullets in my opinion. I get between two to three dozen of them every year from a tractor. Its enough to convince me that the extra penetration from the heavier bullet works better.

I purchased this ammo for my Ruger Single Six and my new Kel-Tec pistol. Shipping was fast, and without issue. I'll add information on ammo performance after getting some rounds downrange.

Ruger American Rim Fire 22 mag shot a one inch group at 50 yds and a one inch group at 100 yds.
Henry Lever Action 22 mag shot 1.25" group at 50 yds and 2 inch group at 100 yds. For me this is satisfactory for the ranges that I will be shooting
