Its lead core and match-grade copper jacket represent the original standard created by Joyce Hornady for classic varmint hunting. Primarily comprised of spire point profiles and flat base designs, the bullets perform extremely well even at low velocities and deliver excellent performance in many classic varmint rifles.

Great hunting or target bullet! This bullet and weight works extremely well in my Colt AR 5.56 with the aftermarket 1:8 twist barrel I recently installed. You can't go wrong with Hornady bullets!!

Excellent projectile for my AR build. Using a Colt 1:8 twist and these 60grain Spire Points are very accurate. Shooting 3/4 moa using IMR 4166.
