Product Information

Originally designed for hunting, self-defense and law enforcement application, the XTP demonstrated the kind of accuracy that led many competitive shooters to adopt it. Precise folds divide the XTP in six symmetrical sections, strategically weakening the jacket and initiating controlled expansion even at low velocities. The copper jacket protects the nose of the XTP bullet, so the hollow cavity functions properly on impact. The XTP’s jacket and core expand at the same rate to ensure they remain locked together, transferring all downrange energy to the target. Expansion is controlled by varying jacket thickness down the length of the XTP. XTP’s were specifically designed to expand reliably at a wide range of handgun velocities to deliver a deep, terminal penetration with every shot.

This is not loaded ammunition.

Accurate bullet with titegroup powder. Chambered without any problems in my Springfield 1911 A1 and my XDS 45. Will buy again.

I use XTPs in all my defense reloads. They are very accurate and also typically come with 100 in the box (Hornady has shorted me in the past in the.223 caliber)
Note for CZ guys, These will not chamber on my CZ75 at the recommended cartridge length. I had to short them down a little bit in the case FWIW
