Consistent results

I bought this seating die because I was getting inconsistent results from the Lee seating die I was using. This Hornady seating die has been much more consistent for me with 147gr coated lead flat point bullets. My only complaint is that the crimping feature causes shaving of the bullet with coated lead bullets. Additional flaring did not help (tried various diameters all the way out to 0.384” OD). I had to disengage the crimping feature completely and use a separate crimping die to solve the problem. Separating these procedures is probably the best choice anyway.
