great accuracy out of my 6.5creedmoor and at the lower velocities of the creedmoor it is a good whitetail bullet.

Hornady 6.5 147gr ELD Match a Great Long-Range Bullet

I have loaded these for both a 6.5X284 and my 6.5 Creedmoor for 600- and 1,000-yard NRA matches and they perform as well as Berger 140gr Hybrid Target or Sierra 142gr Match King Bullets. The 6.5X284 shoots these best with H4831SC and the 6.5 Creedmoor shoots these best with H4350 in my rifles. There are other suitable powders, and your gun may prefer a different powder. Graf & Sons has been getting the Hornady bullets in stock at times whereas the Bergers and Sierras have been impossible to find anywhere!

I was shooting sub MOA GROUPS during load development. Made it very difficult to pick which powder charge to use for further investigation.. It's a long bullet so compacted loads are common...but I don't chase lands and grooves so I'm loaded to mag capacity and sweet spot...

Have a Russian Vostok Olympic Biathlon Rifle in 6.5 X 54R. This bullet shoots GREAT from this rifle. Basically a 7.62 x 54R necked down to 6.5MM. They built this target rifle from scratch. Not a 91/30 converted. Fully adjustable trigger, match sights, front sling rail. would recommend ELD bullets to anyone!

My 6.5 Japaneses rifle loves these it puts them right on target. It will put bullet on bullet at 200 yards with a load of IMR 8208-XBR xx.x gr. These bullets are finely made and I use them in computations and won.

I have a Savage Stealth 10BA. These rounds shoot amazing. Best shot to date was .101 3 shot group shooting XXgr. Of H4350. Average group now around .3-.4. But these bullets really show there performance after 700 yards. These shoot almost 5moa higher at 900 yrs than my 140 bthp hunting rounds loaded same way. Truly amazing balistics from Hornady and thanks Graf & Sons for keeping them in stock.
