By Jeremiah W. on Jul 04, 2023
These things look good, jackets are nice and they shoot very well.

Hornady .224, 62 FMJ Bullet

By S Peter P. on May 25, 2023
My go to bullet for my 16", 8 twist AR. I use a variety of other components but always use the 62 H FMJ. One-hole groups at 50 yards & can reliably hit 10-inch steel at 300.
High value, high quality bullets.

Good Price...Hard to Find

By Loc N. on May 09, 2023
These are Hornady and 62gr. Never see them in retail stores but Grafs has them.

62 Grain

By Chris H. on Apr 21, 2023
Solid economical choice if you need a little more distance.

Hornady 62 gr. Bullets

By Gary P. on Apr 01, 2023
Bullets arrived on time and well packaged. Measured about 75 of the 1000 purchased . All were within .001 of each. Loaded them with xx gr. of Hodgdon H335 and used a slight taper crimp to finish them off. Rifle was a S&W Sport I , 1:8 twist . 100 yd. Groups were 1-1/8 in. Fired with the aid of a bi-pod. Going to try different weight bullets to see if they do any better. Would definitely buy again and recommend to others .

Great value

By Paul H. on Jan 23, 2023
Best value in bullets. Nothing wrong with them but usually some unseen blemish that doesn't effect how they shoot

By Ric H. on Nov 09, 2022
Shoot great in my Ruger mini 14

good bullet

By David M. on Sep 10, 2022
they run for me about the same as m855 in my rifle.

62 gr fmj

By Rick A. on Aug 02, 2022
I haven't fired it yet, projectile is crafted very well I get consistent measurements. I am confident it will perform to my expectations. This projectile will be fired from a Daniel Defense 1&7 twist . Most importantly I purchased from a merchant I like and trust. Side note- support legislation that protects our arm's manufacturers and merchants... ..... .......

Accurate in 1:7" barrel

By David B. on Mar 05, 2022
I got a good deal on a 5.56 1:7" light-contour barrel, and have settled on this 62-grain Hornady bullet as the first choice for everyday shooting with this barrel. Over a charge of IMR 4064 or BL(C)-2, I get very good results on the range at all distances. Graf's repackaging boxes are sturdy and useful.

Hornady 62 gr bullets

By Eric S. on Aug 05, 2021
These bullets like all other Hornady bullets are high quality consistent bullets that are accurate and reliable.

Hornady 62gr FMJ

By Nathan S. on Jan 30, 2021
I was very pleased with the quality of these bullets. The plastic repackage boxes were also great, and helped contain my order when the shipping box was destroyed by FedEx. That brings me to the only negative, which is FedEx. They delivered my package to a house down the street, even though my address is clearly marked. I'll definitely order from Graf's again, but next time I'll choose UPS for shipping.

Hornady 62 gr. FMJBT

By Scott C. on Nov 12, 2020
Very consistent weight and surprisingly good accuracy from this bullet. Quality is spot on. Can't go wrong with these.

Hornady 62 gr fmj

By Brian K. on Nov 12, 2020
I shoot in Across the Course (X-T-C) matches requiring shooting from 200 yards (standing slow fire and sitting rapid fire), 300 yards prone rapid fire, and 600 yard slow fire. Total of 80 shots for record. I use a .223 match grade AR15 with a 1:8 twist barrel designed to stabilize heavier bullets

I do not shoot very well in the 200 yard standing event. I use the 62 grain Hornady FMJ with RL15 powder for an economical load that will perform OK in a 1:8 twist barrel. Once I move to the other positions/distances where my shooting is better, I switch to heavier (77 grain and 80 grain) match quality bullets.

The Hornady FMJ 62 grain bullets work fine for my purpose. The recoil is also noticeably less with 62 grain than 77 grain.

By Alfredo N. on Nov 11, 2020
Nice plinker for a great price, can't beat it, and shoots really good.

By William M. on Nov 11, 2020
These projectiles are solid performers and the transaction was seamless. The seller shipped the product within 2 days, provided a tracking number and the product was delivered within 3 days. Total transaction time less than a week and product was as described. Will be purchasing additional units when they are in stock! Thanks!

Hornady 62 fmj

By Jesse B. on Nov 09, 2020
Received these quickly after ordering. They came in nice reusable containers. Loaded these for my ar15 with a 1-8 twist and 16 barrel. Found at 100 yards they grouped well at or below 1.5 moa. Will definitely get more of these once back in stock.

Great for reloading

By Neal W. on Oct 28, 2020
Decent accuracy and good quality for all around target practice

Great bullet

By Joni G. on Oct 12, 2020
Very accurate in my ar would recommend to all

Hornady .62 grain FMJ

By Neiven T. on Oct 12, 2020
These bullets are consistent in weight finish and all the cannelures are all even. For years i have used bargain bullets but Hornady bullets are always consistent and one of the most accurate at a fair price your best bet is to buy in bulk! So why mess with bargain bullets that are inconsistent in weight and other dimensions your shot groups will suffer as a result.

HorNady 63 gr fmj bullets

By Rick N. on Oct 11, 2020
We all know the quality of hornady products, that goes without saying. However the quality of graf and sons business, is second to none. Even in the covid era, my order was delivered on time. I have ordered from them before and am very pleased with their company. Will order again, never had a problem with Graf and Sons. Thank you Graf and Sons.

Graf’s sells a quality product at a reasonable price. Shipping was prompt in these trying times and I’ll buy from them again

Good bullets!

By William B. on Oct 08, 2020
Great quality bullets at a affordable price considering today's market. The repackaged hard case from Graf's that they come in is a great touch. Makes storing them a breeze and you can reuse the case. Thank you!

By A B. on Sep 30, 2020
Very smartly repackaged Hornady FMJs into Grafs nice plastic flip top boxes . Box has a regular snap style latch. Weights are very consistent for FMJ, we bought these for generic plinking bullets. Very happy!

Gets the job done.

By James S. on Sep 19, 2020
Low cost and good accuracy for the price. Slight weight difference on each bullet.

Great bullet for M1 Garand ammo reloads

By Richard M. on Sep 18, 2020
Second time ordering these bullets to reload for my M1 Garand and they are once again the perfect, high quality Hornady product.

Better accuracy than 55gr fmj

By Robert G. on Sep 18, 2020
I get better groups with these bullets than with 55grain FMJ in my 5.56 cal rifles

Quality & Consistency Every Time

By Sean R. on Sep 18, 2020
I have never had an issue with Hornady and the quality they provide. Both the 62gr and 55gr FMJ bullets combined with H335 are a winning combination for my AR platforms. Graf & Sons does an amazing job getting me the tools I need for successful reloading.

A very good bullet for the price. I do like the bulk packaging but would prefer them packed in larger quantities.

Great bullet for the price

By Brian T. on Sep 05, 2020
I have an 18" daniel defense barrel with a rifle length gas system. These are my go to bullets when I want to shoot steel from 100-500 yards. For the price you cant go wrong.

Great bullets from Hornady

By Douglas L. on Sep 04, 2020
I really like the boxes for storage. Loaded with H335 my AR’s shoot less than moa at 300 yards. Great service.

Quality Product

Nicely packaged bulk bullets. Makes for easy storage. There is actually is no data for this bullet in my Hornady manual but they have data on their website.

Hornady quality at bulk pricing

By George S. on Feb 10, 2020
Excellent quality bullets, perfect for loads simulating milspec loading. One of the few available offering a cannelure.

Best FMJBT I have tried

By Cyrus J W. on Jan 02, 2020
These bullets have consistent weight and placement of cannelure. They work great in .223 for military duplication loads as well as reduced loads using SR4759. Other makes might be a little cheaper, but they are not of comparable quality as these from Hornady. I have tried some of the rest; don't waste your time with them....go with Hornady. Graf's fair pricing and flat rate shipping are a great combination, as usual.

Accurate bullet for practice and self defense

By Larry K. on Dec 03, 2019
Several years ago I spotted these bullets from Hornady. The only reloading data available at the time was from Lyman. Now Hornady has published reloading data for this bullet. This bullet reloads easily and is very accurate in a number of different powders. I've shot 1/2" groups with my Mossberg MVP LR at 100 yards. With the AR-15 I can hold 1" groups at 100 yards. This is a very accurate bullet. It is an inexpensive range bullet and can be loaded to match the military service ammo.

Great bullet

By Andrew G. on Sep 11, 2019
I worked up a load using these that cost me about 30 cents each, that's counting the full cost of the brass on the first firing. The second firing will knock off 13 cents for a cost of 17 cents a round. My AR has a good match grade barrel, it shoots this load consistently in the .5 to .7 range for five shots. It's hard to justify the expensive bullets with kind of results.

Good bullet at a great price

By Daryll S. on Jul 26, 2019
Great shoot bullets for a great price the shoe great out of my 18 inch 1/8 twist A.R. 15 and of course grafs had fast shipping as usual

Hornady 62 gr fmj

By Michael T. on Apr 26, 2019
Very accurate in my 1/8 carbine and rifle. Price is also very good.

versatile and cost effective

By Andrew P. on Apr 19, 2019
This is your all in one bullet. Heavy enough for 1/7 twist but not too heavy for the 1/10 1/12 varmint barrels. Can use heavy round powders like Varget or light powders like 335 and it has a consistent uniform shape unlike some foreign or plated bullets.

Damn Good Shootin Bullet

By Seth M. on Mar 05, 2019
These shoot less than 1 MOA at 100 yds in my 7 twist AR using 8208 and AR Comp.

Accurate - especially considering the price

By Thomas G. on Dec 28, 2018
I get less than moa in my AR with multiple powders(IMR 8208, Alliant Varmint). Use them for CMP competitions.

Hornady 62 gr fmj

By Larry K. on Dec 12, 2018
Shoot less than moa in my ar

Good shooting bullet for the money

By Robert W. on Sep 28, 2018
Typical Hornady quality control, weight deviation is very low with weights running 61.8-61.9 on my Ohaus lab scale. Shot a 1.1"x1.3" 10 shot 100yd group out of my 16" .223 Wylde Anderson AM-15, the very first load tried! I like the 250 quantity, enough for a couple 88rd matches plus some for load development and sighting.
