Great vise

For years I've used a lower price point vise from Tipton, and to honest it was lacking. I saw this vise being used in a shop, but they were out of stock so I ordered it from Graf's. Everything that you would want to adjust is adjustable. The first thing I did was level it to the bench. Then I went through seven different rifles, and checked the scope as it was mounted. Six of them needed to be re-done. One had such clearance issues that I removed the scope entirely, leveled the rifle in the previously leveled vise, then reattached the scope, and leveled that. This vise is rock solid. As was previously stated this vise is heavy, and it helps you do the job. The only negative is that the clamps do not adjust wide enough to accommodate some rifles.

Tipton Ultra Gun Vice

I bought this to replace the Tipton Gun Vice that I've had for many years. I should have gotten this much sooner as it is a major upgrade from the older model. It has better stock clamps and is elevation and width adjustable. Lots of tray space too. The large rubber feet and weight make it very stable. I give it five stars and two thumbs up!

Heavy and very stable . Long enough to accommodate many types of stocks .The front and rear rest are adjustable allowing for a barrel down position so solvents don't drain back into the magazine well. Front vise needs to be a bit wider , a couple of my bench rest guns won't fit due to the 3'' max width . Overall a great vise and should last many years.

Great gun vise but not for Benchrest stocks

The foreend part of this vise is limited to under 3 in so it won't help many benchrest shooters unless they remove the barreled action from the stock.

For the rest of your rifles including ARs this is a very stable and capable maintenance and repair vise.

Big and Heavy works in your favor till you need to put it away.
