Due to the packaging and shipping process, case necks are often slightly dinged or bent and need to be rounded up and sized to give proper neck tension. New and/or fired cases must be full-length resized or have the expander ball of the sizing die run through the case neck prior to loading.

This is some of the best brass I have purchased, consistent neck thickness and case weight. First Peterson purchase and won't be the last.

Converted to 22-250 cases

By Jeff A. on Oct 11, 2022
After a quick search, I discovered that the patent case of the 6xc is the 250 savage case, which is the parent case of the 22-250 rem case. I ordered a box of Peterson 6xc brass, I then removed the decapping assembly from my 22-250 rem full length resize die. I lubed the cases and ran them into the die. After they were formed, I then reinserted the decap assembly ( I made sure my decap pin would fit in the flash hole) and ran the cases back through the die. I then trimmed the cases, loaded with a mid weight bullet and a mid weight powder charge and fire formed into fantastic 22-250 rem srp cases!!! I crushed 2 cases by not removing the decap assembly! These are expensive cases, but we’ll worth the price to get srp 22-250 brass.

The best 6XC brass on the market. Small rifle primers stay tighter with hot loads.

Bought 200, arrived in fine fashion. Looks superb, anxious to load some, see how it performs. Great finally to have quality factory options for this cartridge brass.
