350 Legend Collet Style Crimp Die. Incorporates a collet to apply a rifle type crimp to the case. Makes these very difficult to crimp cartridges a delight to reload. Bullets do not need a crimp groove, as the collet is so powerful it will form one. NOTE: This die is not carbide.

reliable and consistant

I have used this on about 200 rounds so far. It took me very little time and effort to get a crimp I was happy with. If i ever lost it i would buy another.

Lee factory crimp

These crimp dies are a must for straight wall any cartridge. That includes any pistol.
A strong crimp always improves velocity consistency. I always test loads through a chronograph, and it shows the difference.
A strong crimp also expands your powder choices because some powder will not burn consistently without a higher pressure buildup before the bullet releases.
Lee's factory crimp dies will not collapse the shoulder on bottle neck case either, the way a roll crimp die can sometimes.
I use them for most of my cartridges.

Go back to the old nut please

I have never had an issue with any Lee die. The nut change doesn't hurt anything, but it is annoying not being able to use my normal wrench to tighten it down.

350 legend

Lee is the only crimp die l use. Super easy to adjust. A must for the 350 legend to get proper tension for better ballistic.

What can I say?? It's a Lee Factory Crimp die---always quality results, especially when using bulletes w/o a cannellure...
