Great subsonic 300Blk projectile

Just about the best subsonic projectile for 300Blk. Good expansion at 1050-1100fps. Still working on finding the best powder for this round. So far CFE BLK works very well. I would not hesitate to recommend this for subsonic 300 BLK reloading.

These shoot really good, expansion is minimal in my tests. Saw some ballistic test on YouTube where they loaded these super sonic, pretty impressive. I think I’ll try and load a few like that just to see.
A Long Time Waiting

Had been waiting over 6 months for Hornady to toil up and start another production batch of these. Now, if I can ever get ATF off their cuffs and approve my Form 4, I can try these out with my suppressor.

I’m very happy that Hornady released these bullets. They feed well and seem to have good expansion at subsonic velocities. Now hopefully they will release the rest of the sub-x line of bullets!

Excellent performance from 6 inch and 8.5 inch 300 BLK barrels. Boring reliability observed from numerous suppressed AR-15 rifles. Additionally, performance in ballistic gelatin was good from a 6 inch barrel 300 BLK with good expansion. This bullet has exceeded my expectations of what I could achieve from subsonic ammunition.
