Due to the packaging and shipping process, case necks are often slightly dinged or bent and need to be rounded up and sized to give proper neck tension. New and/or fired cases must be full-length resized or have the expander ball of the sizing die run through the case neck prior to loading.

Outstanding brass

By Ryan J. on Aug 29, 2021
Very consistent brass. Length and weight tolerance is the best I've seen including Lapua and Norma Love the ammo box packaging!

Just fired the best group I've ever gotten from a rifle using a random load I made up with oddball components (darn shortage) and Peterson brass. I didn't think my old rebarreled K-98 could do .5 MOA...IT CAN! Hoping to see more calibers available going forward, as this will be the only brass I buy!

Peterson Brass is the best I have ever used

By Jerry N. on Dec 04, 2020
The Peterson 280 Remington brass that I recently purchased is the best brass I have ever used. It has very close tolerances on uniformity of weight, neck walk thickness, and linear dimensions. It arrived in near perfect condition inside their excellent packaging. Out of the box it was 99% ready to load. I used a mandrel to uniform the necks - out of 100 I had one mouth that wasn't round. I have not fired any of these (winter came quickly) but I have fired and reloaded their 30-06 brass and it was marvelous. My only wish is that they made brass more cartridges - especially Dakota. Peterson will be my first choice in brass.

This brass is all I buy now . I have checked the weight on a few batches . The weight and length are extremely consistent . I love the way they package them , damage free .Just load them and let them live their life in the box they come in .

Excellent packaging and shipping. Brass was in immaculate condition when received. I haven't loaded any yet but it really looks like a really good product.
