Excellent bullets for the money. First reloads at the range produced 1" groups at 100 yards .With a little tweaking it can better .Try some!!

I use these with my 223 Savage Bolt gun and my AR and these shoot very well (right at MOA), with great terminal performance on Deer and coyotes. I shoot them with a stiff load of 2520 underneath loaded to max mag length for the AR. I'm bumping 2900 fps with the 20 inch barrel on my Custom AR as well as my 22 inch barrel in the Savage..

Have used Speer products for decades and they never fail to produce low cost, accurate bullets. These are no exception.

I’ve enjoyed shooting these in my Savage 111 chamber in 223 Rem with 1-9 inch twist. Accuracy is good, bullet performance upon impact acceptable, and affordable.

I have used these for a long time, I used to shoot them out of a Colt Sporter 1/7 twist for gongs out to 500 yards. The last two 500 buys have been for a DPMS M-12 barreled upper 1/8 twist, they group under 1" at two hundred yards. These bullets are great, too bad I cannot use them for hunting deer in California.
Great Product for the Price

I ordered a 500 lot batch of these, and assembled using a known Vihtavuoui N140 load. First range session I zeroed at 100m with a RDS, and then transitioned to free hand shooting. Of the first 90 rounds out, I missed the 6" plates twice, once at 300, and the other at 350. Nailed them both on follow-ups. Therefore these are darn accurate, and make a great plate round.
I'm sure they would do well elsewhere also, if you were using a faster powder and higher velocity.
My built AR, 16" carbine length HBAR, 1-8 twist .223 Wylde chamber, TRS-25 RDS. Standard FC group, H2 buffer, stainless spring,
Timely shipping and delivery considering all of the hurdles and crisis ongoing.
See you at the firing line. Drew

This bullet has been around for a long time and is even better with today's fast twist barrels. Hits those varmints hard when you need it to and fairly economical as well.

Adequate for small deer and predators at modest distance with 223Rem based cartridges where regulations allow.
Speer 70 grain is accurate!!

This bullet is very accurate in 1x8 and 1x12 twist barrels at 26 inches. It is superb in .223 remington and .22-250 chamberings in the afore mentioned twist rates. It is also very accurate in two AR's with 16" heavy barrels. For bolt actions the powder used was BLC2 at XX grains. ALWAYS WORK UP and let the rifle and pressure indications tell you what the rifle likes. At 100 yds 4 shots touching and a single flyer brought the group to just under 1" out of a 26" 1x8 twist barrel bolt action.
The AR'S are just as good at 1" to 1&1/4" at 100 yds. I am very happy that Speer manufactures a bullet that will easily harvest a deer or pig in .22 caliber that is economical for reloaders. This bullet has been around for decades and during a time when most .22 barrels were twisted with slow twists which demanded short length bullets that would stabilize the heavier weights. This is an excellent choice to allow the youth to participate in a hunt and not experience recoil but enjoy the hunt. We have used these to great success here in Texas for deer and very large amount of feral pigs. Pigs by the way are NOT armor plated. We shoot them with this bullet exactly like a broadside shot on a deer and the job is always done right there. Have no reservations about using this bullet for the previously mentioned animals it will work as it has for decades.
