The Model 552 XR308 features a customized reticle that is calibrated to the specific trajectory of the M240 308/7.62x51 nato machine gun. The center dot is used for 0-300 meters. Three additional calibrated aiming dots are for 600m, 900m and 1.2km. In addition to the M240 7.62mm machine gun the sight works with other .308 platforms such as Remington 700' or AR-10 style rifles.
