I use JB combined with Kroil to get the hard carbon out. Works amazing to remove that last bit of hard carbon and the carbon ring out of my barrels.

This is the only thing that finally allowed me to get all the hard carbon out of my barrel. Then it cleans out of the barrel easily. Very good stuff.
