This instrument provides an extremely fast and accurate method for comparing the shoulder position of fired and/or sized cases and bullet seating depth uniformity. The Instant Indicator consists of a die body with a precision dial indicator mounted on top. The internal parts consist of a sliding shoulder contactor, a sliding blank contactor and a pressure spring. A brass set-up gauge, a bore diameter bushing and a range adapter are also supplied. 

Now you can quickly compare headspace and bullet seating depths within .001 of an inch. The “Instant Indicator” quickly checks the headspace from the case shoulder to the base. This information is critical for setting up your sizing die to achieve the precise amount of shoulder bump. To compare bullet seating depths simply insert a standard Redding sizing bushing of the proper bore diameter for the caliber you are using. Supplied with instructions to check and quickly compare overall case lengths and bullet base to ogive.
