Due to the packaging and shipping process, case necks are often slightly dinged or bent and need to be rounded up and sized to give proper neck tension. New and/or fired cases must be full-length resized or have the expander ball of the sizing die run through the case neck prior to loading.

Excellent as expected

Starline makes excellent brass. Checked the cases using my gauge (which allows checking of the case without a bullet) and they are all in spec. You can skip sizing for the first reload. In my case, there was one additional case in the bag when I moved them to boxes. A good deal all around.

Starline makes some of the best brass out there. All dimensions are to spec. All the ammo I load using this brass always passes my sizing gauge. Other brass can have too much wall thickness causing bulges.
