Our precision-built bases are machined to tight tolerances for a custom fit, and fight the effects of recoil with a square-cut notch that mates to the sturdy cross bolt in every Weaver Detachable Ring. Custom-hardened fastening screws come with every Weaver base. Rings sold separately.

Can't beat this basic base. I occasionally use others but always seem to come back to these.

Very precisely made. The fit and finish are top notch. The screws provided are precisely made and threaded. The attachment was very secure and the tolerance are what you want for a scope mount. I mounted these on a Savage 64 Take Down .22 cal rifle. I believe these mounts are the only ones made that will fit in the world. Takes two for the job.
