Use of this Burris base & Burris Signature Zee rings can assure proper scope alignment & elevation gain for both 1 inch & 30mm scopes.
The plastic inserts may be twisted around scope to minimize windage adjustments to keep reticle near center & provide additional elevation to enable long range use with existing scope elevation adjustments. Differences of receiver dimensions among rifles that might cause scope/receiver stress are fixed. The plastic inserts don't mark scope tubes. Select scopes that have turret near middle of scope tube as rear base ring attachment is forward,

I installed the adapters on my M77 300 Win Mag and they are rock solid. Torqued to the mfgs. specs and they don't move. Best part is I am able to use the Burris Zee Rings.
