Product Information

Berry's Preferred Plated bullets begin as a swaged lead core. The swaged lead cores are tumbled in an electrically charged bath containing high-grade copper ingots. The copper clings to the lead and the longer the bullets remain in the bath, the thicker the plating.  The bullets are plated to the correct size and then taken out of the bath. Plated bullets are not as expensive as jacketed bullets.  They are cleaner than lead but you'll want to stay away from magnum velocities when loading plated bullets.  This is not loaded ammunition.

I have used Berry's for several years and loaded a couple thousand 45 ACP Rounds! This Round Nose style works great in my Thompson as well as my Kimber Pistols. One bullet that works for all Range and plinking applications! The .452 Diameter shoots a tighter group than the other products that are .451. Grafs competitive pricing makes shooting affordable!

I usually buy my bullets for reloading from a great company based in Idaho, but their order backlog drove me to look elsewhere. I happily discovered Graf & Sons.

These Berry plated 230gr round nose bullets are affordable, consistently weighted (I didn't find more than a 0.1 gr difference in a sample I checked), and shoot great.

For me: I'm pushing them with x.x gr of Accurate #2, 1.255 OAL, with an average velocity of 765 fps out of a 5" barrel. Nice light load for plinking and will still set the gongs ringing nicely.

I have used Berry bullets for loading 9mm, 40 S&W, and .357 Mag. All I have to say is, they have yet to let me down. They are very good bullets to use and cheap on price.
