Product Information

Since its introduction in 2003, Barnes’ Triple-Shock X Bullet has earned a reputation as “the perfect hunting bullet.” Now, Barnes has improved on perfection by adding a streamlined polymer tip.

The new Tipped TSX features the same 100-percent copper body with multiple rings cut into the shank. It delivers the same gnat’s-eyelash accuracy and “dead right there” performance—but with an added polymer tip that boosts BC and improves long-range ballistics. The tip and a re-engineered nose cavity provide even faster expansion.

Complete penetration, virtually 100-percent weight retention and four razor-sharp cutting petals that double bullet diameter means the new Tipped TSX creates more internal damage than any competing bullet. Instant expansion and perfect penetration ensures cleaner, quicker kills.

This is not loaded ammunition.

6.8 SPC is a great deer and bear cartridge. The 95 TTSX from Barnes is the right bullet for each. Flat shooting and very good expansion does lots of damage coupled with very good peneatration.

Makes your 6.8 spc a hunting rifle.

When using the 6.8 spc too much bullet weight will cost velocity. The 95gr Barnes can make 2900fps+ out of an 18in barrel which is enough for good expansion. So far a couple of deer and 12 hogs up to 250lbs all one shot kills with complete penetration. Group size under an inch. This is one fine bullet.

Testing in 6.8 SPC

Wanted to squeeze a little more velocity out of my AR 6.8. So far velocity up and accuracy in very good. These solids really penetrate.

Excellent AR bullet

This seems to be the best option for a 6.8 SPC AR rifle. It is very accurate and has a good balance of expansion and penetration.
