Calif. lead free hunting zones.

Carrying a firearm, with a hunting license or fishing license In Calif.,44 magnum lead free bullets. Fish and Game. will not have much to say. These 225 grain lead free bullets are about 1/32" longer than a 300 grain lead bullet. Barnes load data using H110 is the same as the 300 grain lead bullets. Always check your Min. OAL & Max. OAL.

This bullet is used in my 20 gauge double nested sabot deer slug handloads. I am holding 2-3 inch 3-shot groups at 100 yards which is more than what is needed where I hunt. This is being done to prepare for when my state declares lead slugs illegal. So far I believe I am as good if not better off than with lead slugs.
