For short rifle cartridges like the 300 Blackout, you must use a Short Trim Die Toolhead when using a Dillon repid Trim 1500 Case Trimmer during case preraration. Otherwise, the toolhead is too thick to facilitate the correct case length. This specialty toolhead enables you to correctly trim and prepare short rifle cases on your RL/Super 1050.
