It does exactly what it says it does it checks for no charge or double charge. It’s a good reassurance for a progressive loader.

You can't put a price on the peace of mind this brings. I use a lot of Bullseye and a double charge of my normal load could be a big problem. Highly recommended addition to your machine.

Having reloaded for years using a turret press and loading blocks, when I went to a Dillon 750 I felt that I was putting a lot of faith in the powder drop to give the correct charge. Adding the powder check gives me some peace of mind but I'll probably always be trying to peek in the case as I set the bullets!

I've always just visually inspected my powder loads and have not had any issues. When my 14 year old son decided to get into reloading I got this as a precaution to be used while he learned (always with supervision of course). I have to say I honestly don't know why I didn't invest in this sooner. Having an additional check gives me piece of mind that neither of us will under/over charge the load we're developing.

I purchased this after having a few squib loads due to my errors when setting up load variations for testing. This product will easily detect no charge and double charges even with low mass powders like Tightgroup. It is a great insurance policy against dangerous under/over charges.
