Golden Pheasant loads combine hard, nickel-plated shot with powder and primer combinations to ensure consistent performance in the most demanding hunting conditions.  To nickel plate the shot, it must first be copper plated to get the nickel to stick.  So, nickel plated shot is like copper plated shot, but harder so the benefits are greater including increased surface hardness which means the pellets stay rounder and fly truer at longer ranges.  This is loaded ammunition.
