Easy to fill up and ready to go.
A steady rest

A heavy bag that does what it says. It holds onto the rifle a bit for a steady aim and takes the edge off the recoil. I am able to shoot well with this bag. I filled mine with sand.

I use this bag both at the range with another bag at the toe of the stock, and by itself on the hood of my truck or off a table for prairie dogs and ground squirrels. It is very steady and allows me to make use of the accuracy of my varmint rifles. I fill it with tumbling media, which is lighter than sand.
