Also went from 20 plus powders to 5 with this being the most used in my inventory , close to a 1000 rounds of 38 special when loaded mid range from a 1 pound container , makes me the most money per round that I produce. Also use in 222 , 22-250 , 30 carbine , 308 , 30/30 , 30-06 with cast bullits , 8mm , 7mm , 7.35 carcano , 6.5 Japanese , also with cast, 12 ,16 ,20 ,gauge shells , 38 special , 357 , 9mm , easy to find and very often over looked at the counter by the fancy gun "kids" who know everything . it works , its that simple !

This is a great powder when it is available for Shotgun, Pistol and Rifle, it is useful even in larger cases if a proper filler is used for target or small game uses, I use it in 30WCF (30-30), .45-70, and even in .30,'06 for small game and short range target loads with cast bullets using a filler when needed in the large rifle cases It is virtually an all purpose powder in shotgun and in most pistol cartridges except for magnum loads. I liked the original version better, but complaints about it being dirty caused them to clean it up. Really who cares, compared to Blackpowder it was clean. If your loads are adjusted to the old dirty version, reduce loads and work them back up to your original loads to be sure you don't get an overload. Wonderful powder, everyone should have a large supply on hand. If one is looking to minimize one's inventory of powders, be sure to include Unique. Excluding Blackpowder, Unique is one of the half dozen powders I use, down from the more than 20 I once kept, I haven't missed the others.
