Excellent as a sealer for under butt plates, recoil pads and in inletted actions to prevent stock damage. Use the liquid for fast filling of the pores and the aerosol for the final finish.

A long time user

After trying many stock finishes, I keep returning to this one. Easy to apply, dries fast, looks good, and if necessary (and it will be if you actually use your firearms) is easily spot repaired.
For a super durable finish, apply tung oil first, let soak in and fully dry before the next application. This will seal the wood from moisture. Then apply Tru-Oil and carefully sand with 400 sandpaper between coats.

The only drawback is it will set up in the container if there is any air to speak of. Store upside down or fill up with glass marbles to reduce the airspace.

This will self-combust, so dispose of rags and such properly.

Fabulous product. Works on fine furniture as well as hardwood floors.
