Other "easy load" bullets often fail to properly engage the rifling which does not effectively stabilize the bullet and as a result, accuracy suffers. Hornady® sabots fully engage the rifling to keep the SST®-ML™ centered and sealed during firing, allowing for maximum velocity and unparalleled long range performance. Upon impact, the Flex Tip® is compressed into the front of the bullet, causing the bullet to expand.

These shoot well out of my Savage muzzleloader. A deer that I shot last year fell in its tracks.

I literally shoot 100's of these and there great. I have taken white tails and the bullet is devastating. The ballistic coefficient is great. if you shoot 200 yards you will have 3" less drop then other bullets. T/C has a great selection of polymer tipped bullets too, the yellow tipped ones and the blue tipped ones. all three work great. just wait for one kind to go on sale and scoop up a few boxes before I do.
