Note: Does not measure body diameters. This gage is intended to be used with fired cases to determine a basis for full length sizing and trimming.

The most affordable way to load 38-40

I purchased my LEE 38-40 die set a decade ago and use it often to make ammo for my original 1873 Winchester. The Lee set produces a round that meets SAMMI spec and is great for black powder rounds. I added a LEE factory crimp die and the end results are great.
