SAECO #221 4 CAVITY MOULD 22cal 60gr SPGC
Product Information
All SAECO moulds are machined from solid cast iron blocks one cavity at a time. Using the same cutting tool for each cavity on digital equipment guarantees that each cavity duplicates the previous one. The steel sprue plates are held firm against the mould blocks by high-temperature spring washers to insure uniform bullets with square bases. Mold handles not included.

Fantastic 22cal mould and Customer service
By Josef W. on Feb 04, 2025After a quick cleaning and really quick casting session, the mould is consistent between the halves (.220" nose and .226" driving bands). With my alloy, the bullets weigh in around 61.2gr. These will be used in a super 14 TC Contender 223rem. This mould is heavy as it is iron and the cavities are small compared the block. When brought up to temp, it holds it heat rather well even when casting in freezing temperatures. I used a hotplate to preheat the mould.
There may have been a batch of these #221 4-cavity moulds that slipped passed Reddings quality control. Rather than make a fuss and trashing the product and company (both Grafs and Redding) unfairly, just reach out to Redding and see what they can do.
